Meet Shanna

Originally from the sunny southern town of Redcliff, Alberta, I have lived in three Canadian provinces—Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario—and one U.S. state, Texas. Growing up in a family of farmers, builders, and medical professionals, with a legacy extending to a third generation of oilfield workers, I was instilled with a strong work ethic and a passion for service. This year, I celebrate my eighth year as a licensed real estate agent, with nearly nine years of experience when including my unlicensed work. Despite my lack of handyman skills, I deeply respect the craftsmanship of my grandfather, whose construction work can still be enjoyed in places like Elkwater and Echo Dale parks.

Throughout my diverse career, I have rarely held just one job at a time. My experience includes teaching 126 students how to drive in Manitoba, training thousands of meat-processing workers in Brooks, Alberta, and mentoring security guards and fellow agents. My favorite roles have always involved helping others learn and grow. This dedication to mentorship extends to my real estate career, where I adopt a "fairy godmother" approach, aiming to find homes that meet my clients' needs and fit comfortably within their budgets. Having experienced Alberta's economic highs and lows firsthand, I strive to ensure my clients thrive in any economic condition.

In addition to my real estate work, I hold a security license, allowing me to engage in community events and make a tangible difference locally. This role keeps me active and connected to my community. On a personal note, I am an avid fisherman, though I prefer the sport over the taste of fish. As my children grow more independent, my husband and I have started traveling, and I have recently taken up crocheting—a hobby that has brought me great joy and relaxation.

My journey as a realtor would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my husband and children. Together, we have built cherished traditions and superstitions, from removing sheds and decorating floats to placing signs and adhering to quirky rituals like avoiding chicken during offer negotiations. The referrals I receive from friends and the trust placed in me by new clients and fellow realtors alike are honors I hold dear and strive to live up to every day. Whether you are buying or selling a home, I am here to guide you through every step of the process with dedication, integrity, and a commitment to your best interests.
